My mother gave me my great grandmothers quilt to renovate and repair some years ago . Her words resonated with me "add something of yourself to the quilt Rebecca , all the women in our family have added to this over the years"
In lockdown during 2020/21 I found it hugely comforting reverting to 'traditional' stitching methods including petit point needlepoint. The quilt is forming part of a commission by Hotwalls Studios supported by Arts Council England, a project called PAUSE REFLECT CREATE
